My Journey
My journey towards becoming a coach and motivational speaker began with my personal choices early in life. Growing up, I faced many challenges that included the standard line-up of children from broken and dysfunctional homes to the foster care system, but early on I decided to see these as opportunities to overcome challenges, and lessons to learn from, rather than use them as a reason to justify making poor decisions. These challenges had a significant impact on my life and led to a lot of self-discovery and an early identification of behaviors and habits I never wanted to assimilate.
As I began to seek out resources and support to overcome these obstacles, I discovered the work of Tony Robbins and Les Brown. Their teachings and principles of personal development and growth resonated deeply with me, and I began to apply them in my own life. I listened to their tapes until every word was memorized and understood. While, I would love to tell a story of how I lived the path that was outlined by their lessons, but this isn’t anywhere near the truth. Instead, I made mistakes on top of mistakes on top of a bed of mistakes. I feel that life is generally the best teacher, if we are willing to listen and reflect.
Later in life, through the process of attending seminars and workshops, I further learned how to shift my mindset to one of empowerment and service to others. I discovered that I had the power to take control of my life and my circumstances, and that my past was a tool and a strength rather than a weakness. It was something that had been overcome and had created the resistance needed at the time to develop strength. My past allows me to develop a history when building relationships and when establishing rapport with clients and audiences. I love the person that I am and would never change anything that it took to create this version. As I continued to apply these principles in my life, I began to see significant changes. I found the confidence to pursue my dreams and started to build a successful career in coaching and speaking. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to work with Tony Robbins directly, and his mentorship and guidance have been invaluable in my personal and professional growth.
One of the key lessons that I have learned from Tony is the importance of taking action towards our goals. It is not enough to simply have a vision or a dream; we must take consistent and deliberate steps towards making that vision a reality. This has been a guiding principle in my own life, and I strive to instill this same sense of urgency and purpose in my coaching and speaking.
Another lesson that has been particularly impactful for me is the idea that we are not defined by our circumstances, but by how we respond to them. This lesson has helped me to overcome many challenges and obstacles in my own life, and has been a powerful tool in helping my clients to do the same.
Today, as a coach and motivational speaker, I am committed to helping others overcome their own obstacles and challenges, and to realize their full potential. I draw upon my own experiences and the lessons that I have learned from my mentors to guide and inspire others to take action and create the life they truly want.
Through my work, I hope to make a positive impact on the world and to help others discover their own power and potential. My journey has been one of personal growth and transformation, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story and my lessons with others who may be struggling to overcome their own obstacles.
