My Responsibility to DEI
As a leader of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in the community, my mission is to promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and equity for all individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or socioeconomic status.
I strive to create a welcoming and safe environment where everyone can feel valued and heard. I am committed to educating and raising awareness about the importance of diversity and inclusion, and working towards eliminating discrimination and bias. I actively participate in the WSU Tech, WSU, and regional DEI organizations and actively engage to extend proficiency in integrating awareness and proactive programming.
My ultimate goal is to foster a community where every person can thrive and reach their full potential, without facing any barriers or limitations based on their identity. I believe that through collaboration, empathy, and understanding, we can build a stronger and more connected community that embraces and celebrates our differences.
